Decision-Making of Women Leaders in Government Organizations

This study aims to determine how the decision-making style of women leaders in government organizations Manado City. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with type case study. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documents triangulation. analysis uses an interactive model from Miles Huberman. The results show that making decisions, female use normative rules as reference for action. In general, leaders, at certain times try give directions/instructions, involve subordinates, there delegation tasks. Women also have firm attitude, tend be strict, very disciplined, dare act urgent situations enforce effectiveness carrying out their duties. But time, they can meticulously, informatively communicatively, responsive flexible, gentle, friendly, considerate subordinates but still authoritative, so instinct mother radiates leaders.
